Dawn Purchase
With over four decades dedicated to the equestrian world, I bring a wealth of experience, practical knowledge, and genuine passion to The Horse Buddy Equine Services, proudly serving the Scottish Borders and East Lothian communities.
My equestrian journey began at the age of fifteen with my first pony, sparking a lifelong commitment to horsemanship that continues to shape both my professional expertise and personal approach to horse care.
In 2017 my heart horse came into my life - Buddy - a Hungarian Sports horse. He has given me so much it was only right that I name my business after him!
Over the years, I have combined hands-on experience with formal training, achieving a British Horse Society Stage 2 in Horse Care and an HND in Equine Management. I am a member of the British Grooms Association and am fully insured for horse care and leatherwork.
Today, I offer a range of personalised equine services designed to support both horses and their owners with kindness, professionalism, and understanding.
